Can you confirm, that your VLAN Setup works with all other components like Hue or more? Isn't it more a question how to configure routing right or is it really a question about Dingz App can recognize Dingz in another VLAN?
I think it isn't done with mDNS. You have to configure routing between these networks and if your target is to protect the Dingz from access of specific devices, you also have to setup firewall rules.
I also use VLAN's but I want these networks strictly isolated and never had to think about, how I let them communicate with each other. Therefore, I don't have a solutions or examples for you.
I give people who should not access all my devices in my network only my guest network, that is isolated. They can access Internet and all other stuff is hidden for them. A simple and easy solution.
Can you tell us something about your goal you want to reach and perhaps there are some other possibilities than putting the Dingz to another VLAN.
